Looking for wholesale suppliers.? My partner and I are trying to start a small jewelry business selling mostly sterling silver and gemstones. We're trying to locate wholesalers and distributors. We've been told that the other lady in our area that sells sterling silver gets her pieces from a distributor that sells directly to jewelry stores. We don't have any company names though. Turquoise is pretty big in our area and I've noticed on eBay that China has some nice pieces but I'd rather find a wholesaler in China to work with directly. What is the Typical cost for wholesale bead strands at a jewlery show? I am going to my first jewelry and bead trade show, and I have recently started to seriously make jewelry. I am looking for semi -precious faceted gemstone briolettes and semi-precious faceted gemstone roundelle strands. I have a state tax license and would like to buy wholesale.
