I am 14, so everything must be age-appropriate, and also I don't wear heels or makeup. I am a girly girl and love pink and floral patterns, and skirts and dresses. Is there really anyone that interprets the Bible literally? Many claim to interprete the Bible literally and obey yet these same Christians will ignore many of the scriptures such as - women cover your heads when praying, do not wear jewelry, do not speak in church, do not teach men, kill children that talk back to parrents, worship on Saturday, men do not shave, etc. It is not as if they simply screw up sometimes they totally ignore some scripture for convenience and swear up and down they interprete scripture literally and obey. It does not bother me they don't follow it all. What bothers me is their hyprocrisy that keeps others from becoming Christians. I believe the authors sometimes had personal agendas and were influenced by culture. But, I do believe the Bible is essential to our faith history and should be read and studied by Christians in order to know who they serve and why. Why don't we as Christians try to be honest with ourselves and others for a change?

Is colored aluminum safe in piercings? I bought some aluminum jewelry wire and used it to make earrings (the aluminum goes through the piercing directly, it isn't just a piece of the earring design... the entire earring is made of this wire). It's hot pink wire, but after cutting it I noticed that the inside is just silver. I don't know if it's safe to go through a piercing since it is usually for jewelry that doesn't go through piercings. All I want to know is, will i get lead poisoning or any other sort by wearing these? I don't care if the piercing gets infected. I just need to make sure I won't be ill from wearing these. How can I tell if jute rope is untreated? I bought a 200 foot spool of "Jewelry Essentials Naturals" 48 lb 3 ply jute rope for toy making projects for my parrots. Though I normally don't buy things if I'm not 100% sure about them, the price was right and if I can't use it, I won't be heart broken. It was marketed for jewelry making, obviously, and the packaging doesn't say "untreated" or "not oiled" but it has only a very mild smell that is unnoticeable unless you put it right under your nose and take a big sniff. It's manufactured by Toner Crafts, who no longer lists the product on their website, and I can't find any information about it online. I've emailed and called the company multiple times, but haven't gotten any response. Does all treated jute (or sisal, or hemp, etc) have an oil or chemical smell to it, or is it possible for the scent to fade over time? This rope doesn't smell offensive at all. If anything, it smells like an ever so slightly musty basement, or like a very light fresh cut grass smell. Is this what treated rope smells like? I'm not sure!

You are paying after-tax dollars, so the $30 shirt actually costs you $40. 3. You are paying retail dollar---and paying way over what the stuff is worth. At least wait for a "real" sale, not the fake "50% off". Believe me, it is 50% off because there were no suckers at full price, so don't be a sucker at 50% 4. You are overpaying for branded goods---putting money in the pockets of already filthy rich sports jocks and fake-everything celebrities. 5. You are taking money from your family---maybe your children or your spouse 6. Feel like eating out and paying $40 for a bottle of wine that should cost you only $10? Join a cooking group, or go to a joint that lets you carry your own booze.

I hope you have the will power to resist the retailers hyping every holiday, even sacred and somber days like Christmas and Memorial day, as a day to empty your pockets and rack up your charge cards.
